Family Anchor #129 welcomes you with a peaceful serenity upon arrival featuring an open floor plan, soothing coastal tones and comfortable décor. This three-level home boasts a private boardwalk leading directly to the ocean. Enjoy magnificent ocean views while soaking in the brand new hot tub after a long day on the beach. Located in a prime spot on North Topsail Beach, guests look no further than Family Anchor to discover true beachside living.

A sprawling open space incorporates the third floor kitchen, living, and dining rooms with abundant natural light and comfortable seating for conversation and cocktails as you unwind from the day’s activities. Guests will enjoy watching movies or their favorite sports team on the massive flat-screen TV in the living room that has plenty of seating for everyone. Within that same open space, formal dining to one side offers a beautiful table with high-back seating for ten. Additional seating for four is found at a separate high-top card table nearby. The fully equipped kitchen is marked by its wide open space, wooden cabinetry, ample counter space and a center island that has seating for three and an additional sink for convenient clean up after cooking! Access the front covered deck from the kitchen to enjoy a beautiful sunset view over the intracoastal waterway. A half bathroom is conveniently located on this top floor as well. The first of five bedrooms is found on this floor - an elegant master suite awaits guests with a king-size bed, flat-screen TV, and a spa-like ensuite bathroom with double vanities, jetted jacuzzi tub, and a walk-in shower. This bedroom opens up to an outdoor space offering expansive ocean views. This deck offers plenty of seating and is accessible through the living room as well.

As guests make their way down to the second floor, they will come into a cozy sitting area with a queen-sized sleeper sofa, flat-screen TV and Wii video game console and games that is located in between the four additional bedrooms. Each bedroom is equipped with a Roku TV for streaming your favorite shows and an ensuite bathroom. Two of the bedrooms have a queen-size bed with deck access, the third bedroom has a full-sized bed and a twin-over-twin bunk bed, and the fourth bedroom has two twin-over-twin bunk beds. There is a large laundry room with a full size washing machine and dryer and a door that opens to the second floor deck where guests can access the hot tub.

The main entry into the property is located on the ground floor which also has a second full size refrigerator for extra storage. There is a private outdoor shower for rinsing off located behind the carport, and covered parking spaces for four cars, as well as an extra wide driveway that will easily fit several additional cars. The private elevator which accesses all the floors is a welcome amenity to those with mobility issues and for taking luggage and groceries to the upper floors. High speed internet and Roku TVs are provided in each bedroom, the living room and second floor sitting area, and the living room TV also has cable for watching sports or local news. The receiver in the living room can be used to play music over built-in speakers located in the living room, kitchen, master bedroom, and second floor sitting area by plugging in your phone or using the radio.

Guests are assigned a personal entrance code for the duration of their stay on the keyless door lock. Beds will be made upon guest arrival, and bathroom and kitchen linens are provided, however, if you prefer to bring your own linens, please contact Landmark Rentals to have this charge removed. A First Night Amenity Kit which includes: Toilet Paper, Paper Towels, Trash Bags and More will be waiting for you! Professional cleaning service is provided after every guest stay.

We have vacationed in many homes over the last 40 years and I must say this is the most well built home we have stayed in. Unfortunately our week was during a tropical storm but besides the rain hitting the side of the house you wouldn’t have known it. We loved that if you were beside or below another room you couldn’t hear anyone else. We can only assume they insulated the floors and the inside walls. It was great! The home was well stocked and we loved that there was satellite on the living room TV for us to watch local channels for all the tornado warnings ��‍♀️ my only recommendation would be to update the mattresses on the queen bedrooms. They were not the most comfortable! We are hoping for better weather next year! We will be back!

Family Anchor is the most comfortable vacation home we have rented, and there have been many. Bathrooms and TVs for every bedroom were much appreciated by our group of 6 adults and two children, as was the elevator. The view of the ocean was good and proximity to the beach was excellent. The kitchen was well-stocked with cookware and dishes, which was great since we ate in most nights. Parking space was ample. We had no need to contact the property manager.
The only amenities that might have made it better would be fewer bunks and one more king bed.

We had a wonderful time together as a family! The location was perfect and we really loved our personal boardwalk that took us straight to the quiet, secluded beach. We loved the quiet, beautiful area away from the bustle of surf city but still convenient to anything we needed. The views and the home were incredible! Plenty of sleeping spaces and bathrooms. The fully stocked kitchen was great as we cooked all our meals in and the games, puzzles, beach toys and books were a nice added touch. The Wii was definitely a hit with the kids and we used the amazing hot tub everyday. Landmark rental was super responsive and helpful and we even had some contact with the owner who was super accommodating and so welcoming and kind. It was a an incredible week…our daughter even got engaged on the beach while here! Would most definitely stay again!

We were very happy with our stay. The house was nicely decorated with plenty of room for our family. The view of the ocean was very nice for a Lot B location and the covered front porch was a big plus. My one criticism of the furniture would be the white metal frame bunk bed. The bed squeaked really bad every time you moved and would wake everyone in the room.

I would definitely stay at this location again.

We have been renting in Topsail for five years, multiple times each year, to visit with our daughter and son in law who is in the Marines and stationed closeby. This property was the first in which we actually felt at home. Everyone had their own bedroom (the kids loved that!) and the game room allowed for them to have their own space! At first I was a bit turned off at it not being a true ocean front, but the view is still spectacular and the private walk to the beach is so easy that it doesn’t even matter about being a house behind! The management company communicated well and met our needs during our stay! The beds were comfortable! The kitchen was fully stocked, we cooked each meal every day with no issues! We found our largest sharks tooth to date on this trip so this house is now good luck to us!! We really enjoyed our stay and cannot wait to book again!!

We had a great trip and loved the layout and location of the property. The management company was responsive and friendly. A few things that were hiccups:
We thought there would be a first night's stay basket with some basic items, but did not locate one.
Our biggest wish was that there were at least one window or door with a SCREEN!! We had gorgeous weather and longed to be able to listen to the sounds of the sea while gazing at it from inside. Construction on the house next door was loud and consistent, starting before 8am 7 days a week.
We would have enjoyed a coffee grinder in the home (the kitchen is SO well stocked but we could not find one).
It was surprising that there was not filtered water in either fridge and only the upstairs ice maker worked (slowly). Definitely could not keep up with a large group. It would be nice to provide a filter on the faucet if it is not possible to connect the water on the fridge downstairs.
My husband did not find band aids in the first aid kit (I had some, though).
Very minimal spices on site; a simple spice rack would be a nice addition. I don't offer this as a complaint, I offer it to be helpful (I manage rentals and like to know what would make things better for future renters).

Our family absolutely loves staying at Family Anchor. The layout of the home is perfect for our family and my 70+ year old parents really appreciate being able to use the in home elevator to go from floor to floor. The kitchen is well stocked and the outdoor shower is a hit with my younger children! The drive way is also a major plus as we usually end up with at least 3 cars parked and it’s very easy to turn around in! We have been coming to Topsail for over 9 years now and this is by far the best house we have stayed in.
