Found at the southernmost tip of Ocean Boulevard on Topsail Island is Serenity Point, a breathtaking undeveloped area encompassing miles of natural habitat and beaches. This secret spot is somewhere that a lot of beachgoers aren't familiar with. Either find a spot to sit along the sound or walk to the very tip of the island where the ocean meets the Intracoastal Waterway! This part of the island offers you and your family privacy, and not to mention, free parking.

Kenneth D. Batts Family Park
Walk the sound side boardwalk and catch the stunning sunset views of the Intracoastal Waterway and Surf City bridge at Kenneth D. Batts Family Park. Also, the ideal spot for gorgeous photos and a picnic. There’s a playground, picnic shelter, basketball court, public parking and restrooms.
The park is located just south of Surf City at 911 S. Topsail Dr, Surf City, NC 28445.
Soundside Park
If you haven’t checked out Soundside Park yet, it’s a must-see while you're here. Located beside the Surf City bridge and has something everyone can enjoy - Soundside Park has a large boardwalk and fishing, boat, kayak, and SUP launch. The park hosts special events and festivals all throughout the year so be sure to check one out. Soundside Park also features a nice walking path, picnic shelters, an amphitheater, ECO trail markers, and a large pirate ship playground. This spot on Topsail Island is a great place to host your next birthday party or family get together!
