Island History - Head to the south end of Topsail to learn about the unique history of our island, at the Missiles & More Museum
With over 7 exhibits on local history including these topics: The US Navy’s project to develop supersonic guided missiles, the Women Airforce Service Pilots (WASP) that was developed in response to World War II, modern space technology, Pirates on the island, and much more! Discover shark’s teeth and fossils in the interactive kid’s area.
The museum is housed in the Historical Assembly Building located at 720 Channel Blvd., Topsail Beach, NC 28445.
